BABEL IN PROGRESS
premiere: november 2019 institute del teatre, barcelona, spain
the concept of building and construction was the starting point to a deep research of raphael miro holzer in collaboration with why not? collective, which led them finally to the creation efficiency of uniformity or variety and diversity? dramaturgy of the creation is carefully constructed. its narrative is told through the physicality of the dancers. paulina rewucka and raphael holzer directs the movements to present the aesthetics of dance and to represent the beauty of manipulation. this piece is a tribute to constructivism to demonstrate an interaction between the dance and the audience, which exclusively underlinesthe verticality of babel.
