DESABAR TO COLLAPSE

i joined the project for det frie felts festival in december 2024 to continue and perform in january 2025.
description:
a work that seeks to create space for affective discharge, moving around aggression, joy and their mutual transformations. desabar means to collapse in portuguese, and desabar is all around us.
bones collapse, emotions shatter and relationships overflow. hello world. how did we get here? very close to the details of you-with-me: the violent suffering, the pulse of everyday life, everyday shame, what do i have to do with it? make space, buckle up, pace, train your /self/, give it up: are we still together now? in desabar to collapse, the artists express their personal engagements with everyday violence in a challenging and intimate work with a festive dispute: can we move through strong emotional imprints while keeping our spirits high? fall over, let go!
duration: 60 min.
age: from 16 years.
language: nonverbal.
